Grant Application Information

The U.S. Coast Guard has published a new grant solicitation for the national recreational boating safety program.  The grant is for national nonprofit organizations to assist the Coast Guard in reducing the number of accidents, injuries and deaths on America’s waterways and provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for the boating public.    The solicitation can be found in www.grants.gov, where applications will be accepted through February 13, 2015.  The total estimated funding available is approximately $5.3 million.  Any questions regarding the grant announcement can be sent to Carlin Hertz, Non-Profit Grant Coordinator, at 202-372-1060 or at Carlin.R.Hertz@uscg.mil.
